I would like to introduce you to a new hero of mine.  I love his silly sense of humour and his dramatic delivery.  I hope you will overlook the quality of the video (it’s from the 1950s) and see instead the quality of the content.  He has done many programmes but I picked this one because I talked about suffering in my last post.

May his soul rest in peace.

  1. Interesting. His discussion on pain/pleasure reminded me of Marianne Williamson’s quote: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light not our Darkness that frightens us.”

  2. I’ll have to call back to watch the full video. He certainly seems an intelligent communicator.

    • Thanks for popping by Simon, always nice to see your face pop up amongst my Likes. 🙂 I hope you enjoy the video when you get the time. I will try to pop by your blog soon but I’m about to sign off now and won’t be back until Monday.

  3. I would highly recommend the “What Catholics Believe” series on youtube. Posted by WBCOhio Bishop (then Father) Sanborn and Father William Jenkins are some of the best out there
