My blog seems to be suffering from a few gremlins. Over the last few days I have stumbled across old comments or replies that people have made some time ago but haven’t appeared in the notifications. I’ve answered them as I’ve found them but there may be ones that I haven’t found yet. I hope not. I answer every comment that appears in the notification list so if I haven’t answered you then it’s because I haven’t seen your comment yet. I’m sorry, but it seems to be beyond my control. I hope the gremlins find somewhere else to play soon.

  1. OH NUTS! That was my hundredth post. I wanted it to be special. Isn’t that ironic. πŸ˜€

  2. Gremlins are such a nuisance

  3. If you go into your comments section, you’ll see the comments in the order they have come in, regardless of notifications. Sorry about the gremlins – I have noticed a few on my blog, too – I haven’t received notifications on some of the “likes” I get on a post; I like to know who visits. Good luck! πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Stacey. That’s how I’ve been finding my lost comments. However it doesn’t show replies that you get to comments on other people’s blogs. I’ve only found those by going through the “Comments I Made” section in the Reader and that’s hard to use because it shows all the other comments on those posts as well. Pages and pages to wade through. That’s why I gave up and posted this post.

  4. it has a way of tricking you to learn how to use the dashboard comment sections. πŸ˜›

  5. Not to worry-sometimes comments get caught in my filter too. Happy 100:)

    • Thanks Elena. Yeah, that 100 was a bit of a damp squib πŸ™‚ but it’s great that my blog is still here after 100 posts. I deleted two other previous blogs that didn’t really get off the ground.

  6. Congrats on the 100th (not the gremlins). My gremlins have shown up with my camera. When I go to breakfast with my dad — I lock the camera in his car. When I pick up the camera — the batteries fall out. People have pointed out that maybe I accidentally opened it — I showed them how difficult it is to open the compartment when I WANT the batteries out. Yesterday, I was in my dad’s car — when I went to get out I picked my camera up by the strap and the batteries fell out. This happens no where else.

Also recently I took photos of two critters that hadn’t modeled for me before. The opossum photos looked fine on my camera. When I uploaded them onto my computer only those 3 photos looked like I was on LSD — the other 100 were fine. I took a turtle picture — again looks fine on my camera. All my photos uploaded to my computer EXCEPT that one.

There are more stories but you get the idea. πŸ˜€

  7. I’ve had the same problem – usually with older posts. I feel like I just get things figured out and then a new gremlin shows up. I guess they keep things interesting πŸ™‚ Happy 100th
